Happy Sunday. I hope you’re having a wonderful day today. I’m home from church today with Brighton who seems to have gotten a gross cough not helped at all by his asthma. I think the other parents will appreciate him not coughing his lungs out on their children. He and I have been doing a bit of snuggling and while we were snuggling we were discussing dinner options and I think we’ve decided on some delicious soup. We here in Utah were pounded yesterday with a whole lot of snow and when it’s cold soup is at the top of my list of meal choices.
I started looking for what kind of soup I wanted to make and realized we have some pretty amazing and delicious soup recipes here on HousewivesofRiverton.com and that you might appreciate them all being in once place (I know I will!). So here you go – 10 Soup Recipes, Housewife approved (and loved by our whole families).
Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup is definitely my families favorite.
Slow Cooker Broccoli Cheese Soup is another favorite of mine and thankfully my family loves it too.
Tortellini Soup has become one of Paula’s claims to fame, she is always having people request she bring the soup when we’re going to any type of potluck meal.
This post is serving as a good reminder to go back and take new photos of some of these recipes, wow we’ve come a long way in our food photography I think. All that aside this Taco Soup recipe is a staple in our home, I love that everyone in the family loves it and that it’s so simple I can have anyone throw it together.
Are you sensing a theme here?…soups + slow cookers = every mom’s dream meal! This Chicken and Wild Rice Soup is perfect for filling/warming up bellies after a fun day in the snow.
This is another soup that just makes my belly happy. So hearty and filled with delicious flavor. Your family will love this Vegetable and Beef Soup.
Albondigas Soup will always and forever be my favorite. It reminds me of my Grandpa and is so hearty and filling. It would be in my fall/winter/spring weekly rotation if I had my way.
This Creamy Potato Soup might just be what ends up on my table this evening. I love it so much.
Or maybe it’ll be this Loaded Baked Potato Soup – I am definitely in the mood for potatoes and these are both so good!
Copycat Zuppa Toscana Recipe anyone? This is so good, I think Paula should make it again and share it with me!
So there are 10 delicious soup recipes – remember earlier up there when I said this was a good reminder to take new pictures of some of our older recipes? Well, that is proven extra true with this bonus recipe, the pictures have completely disappeared! I’m missing 2 things from the ingredient list or I’d be making it today and taking new pictures but for sure it’s happening this week.
I promise you this Creamy Chicken Soup is to die for. I remember the first time Gena made it and shared it with me, I wanted to bring the whole pot home and eat it by myself. I look forward to her making it every Halloween and it is perfect in bread bowls!
I hope you have a fantastic day and that this post makes dinner planning a little easier!!
