My family always teases me because I LOVE Christmas music. It just makes me happy. I could honestly listen to it 24 hours a day! I’ve even gotten my kids hooked on it! Every time we get into the car, they beg me to turn on Christmas music. They love getting to look through and pick their favorite holiday songs to add to the playlist!
Unfortunately my data plan didn’t appreciate that very much. Luckily now with T-Mobile’s Simple Choice™ plan, you get Music Freedom. That means you can stream music at high speeds without it counting against your data! That’s a lifesaver when we are driving around looking at Christmas lights or decorating the Christmas tree. I can just pull up my Pandora, Itunes, Spotify or any music streaming service and use our favorite holiday playlist to keep us in the spirit of the season.
I’m going to share with you my top 15 Christmas songs that you have to include on your holiday playlist.
By heading over to Walmart, I was able to pick up the Samsung Galaxy Core Prime and with the $50 Simple Choice™ plan I automatically get Music Freedom. And by the way, can I just tell you that this would be a great gift for a high school or college age kid! A great phone and prepaid plan with no contract and unlimited music streaming…I don’t know of any student who wouldn’t want to find that under the tree!
In my world, another thing that Music Freedom gives you is workout freedom. Having two babies only 17 months apart, I’m trying to get back into my workout routine to lose the baby weight. It’s great to make a New Year’s Resolution to lose weight and get healthier, but I honestly don’t want to wait that long. During the holiday season I always put on extra weight (all those dang, delicious neighbor treats!) and I don’t want to start even farther behind than I am. With the Simple Choice™ Music Freedom I can stream my favorite music that helps me get pumped up during my workout and gives me the motivation to keep going. Now each person has their own workout playlist that gets them going. I’m going to share my favorite workout songs with you…no judging! Some of these songs might date me a little!
Bat Out Of Hell – Meatloaf
This is my favorite running tune! Not only is it incredibly long, but running with the tempo of the music helps me vary my speed.
Happy – Pharrell Williams
Let’s be honest, this song is just…happy. It perks me up and makes me smile even when I don’t want to workout.
Toxic – Britney Spears
I know…I KNOW! But this song makes my workout feel like a party! It has a great beat that keeps you moving!
Shake It Off – Taylor Swift
This song is perfect for just letting go in your workout. It’s also perfect for an impromptu living room dance party!
Into The Blue – Kylie Minogue
Whether I’m on a bike ride through my neighborhood or on a stationary bike in the gym, this is my go to biking song!
Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
Let’s be honest, we saw what this song did for Rocky…you know it’s going to pump you up every time.
Depression Age – PaloAlto
I love listening to this song when I do any weight training. I don’t know why but it makes me feel strong.
Yeah! – Usher
This is just a fun song that immediately gets you moving.
Welcome to the Jungle – Guns n’ Roses
Come on, it’s Guns n’ Roses! You’re going to work your cardio and get your heart rate up with this song!
No Air – Glee
This is my cool down song. It helps me relax while I’m stretching and coming down from my workout high.
So there you have it, the top ten songs that help me get my workout on! With having such an eclectic preference of songs, it’s nice to know that I can set my playlist on my favorite streaming music service and know that with Music Freedom, I won’t have to worry about going over on my data. Now a couple of tips when you’re putting together your workout playlist. First of all, make sure you choose songs that motivate you and keep you going. Secondly, have some variety. While you may be a die hard country fan, adding some pop, rock, or alternative music can keep you from getting bored. And lastly, don’t skimp on the cool down. Make sure you add a couple of relaxing songs that will help you loosen up after your workout.
So whether you are bringing the holiday cheer and spending time listening to your favorite Christmas music with your family or getting a jump on the holiday weight gain with some extra workouts, T-Mobile Simple Choice™ has you covered. The last thing you are going to have to worry about during this busy time of year is going over on your data!
