Well it’s finally February the month for love! If you haven’t already it’s officially time to get those Valentine’s decorations out!
The other day I realized that I have been making different Valentine crafts for the inside of my house but my front door just looked really blah and boring. I didn’t want to do anything crazy or over the top so I thought a wreath for the door would be a perfect addition. I remembered I made a round rag wreath when I was a young girl and thought it would be fun to make a heart wreath using the same technique.
You will need 1 yard of material to make this wreath. I cut my material in 1 inch strips. I used my rotary cutter and mat board and it went really fast. If you don’t have a cutter and a mat scissors will work just fine.
After you have finished cutting all of the material into strips tie your strips one at a time around the wire until your wreath is full. I added some white tulle but if you don’t have tulle material will still be really cute. This wreath comes together very quickly just sit down relax and watch your favorite t.v show. I think you will be surprised how fast and easy it comes together. I love how it turned out it gives my door that little pop of color it needed!
