Last week I got to spend a few days in Las Vegas for the Affiliate Summit West Conference. I had a great time and learned so much but that post will be coming soon.
This post is all about Buddy V’s Ristorante.
My lovely ladies and I had the pleasure of being spoiled by the staff of Buddy V’s (I am totally cool with being spoiled as long as you don’t turn rotten in the process). They all took the time to talk to us about their menu, each of the things they brought us to eat, and answer any questions we had. I took so many pictures, I tried to limit them in this post and there are still many, you’ll forgive me right?
Let’s start with the decor. When you first walk in you’re greeted by this beautiful display of desserts (I like to call them food art). The whole place is beautifully decorated but at the same time homey. I love that the whole place is about food, from the bunt pans on the walls to the whisks in the light fixtures. The views from our seat were entertaining since we were able to look right down at the strip. It was such a fun place to go with a group of friends but it is also totally family friendly, you don’t have to be scared to take your children to Buddy V’s they have seating and menu items for everyone.
As you can see we were having a great time.
Now, onto the food!
1. Aunt Nina’s Mozzarella En Carozza, 2. Nonna’s Lasagna Al Forno, 3. Partial photo of Valastro Sunday Gravy, 4. My Wife’s Eggplant Parm, 5. Bread with oil and vinegar, 6. Charred Octopus, 7. Marsala, 8. Caramelized Sea Scallops, 9. Buddy’s Salumi & Cheese Board.
(Bloggers gonna blog!! Have to get the photo before we dish it out.)
It’s hard for me to pick a favorite. I was so proud of myself (and Nate should be too!) I tried *almost* everything. I tried hard to try the Charred Octopus, even put a piece on my plate, but texture is a hard thing for me to get past and I couldn’t make myself. I did try everything else though. I loved Aunt Nina’s Mozzarella En Carozza, it’s like a grown up amazing grilled cheese sandwich. I also realy enjoyed Nonna’s Lasagna Al Forno, that didn’t surprise me though because I love lasagna. My favorite favorite though probably had to be My Wife’s Eggplant Parm which did surprise me, I have never had Eggplant before and it was amazing.
All of that was just the dinner they brought us, I’m so glad we went with family style so I could try so many different items on the menu.
Do you want to see the desserts?? You know you do!
Left – Lisa’s Warm Nutella Cake with Salted Caramel Ice Cream. Top – Buddy V’s XL Lobster Tail. Bottom – Italian Birthday Cake.
I can’t pick a favorite. I keep trying to and they are all delicious for such different reasons I can’t pick. I do need to share another photo of the Lobster Tail though because it was just plain beautiful!
There was so much food it was crazy, awesome but crazy. We all had plenty to eat even though it was split between 7 of us. Here’s the menu with everything we tried circled.
While all the food was amazing, it was topped by their staff. We had the nicest most helpful waiters, the Manager came out multiple times to talk to us about our meal and answer any questions we had, and at the end of the meal the Chef came out to see how we liked everything (and sit with us for a quick photo). The service was seriously amazing!
And everyone’s favorite photo of the night (I say favorite because they like to make fun of me for it). Because we were a large group I brought my Selfie Stick with me so we could get group photos. Now they all understand the need of the Selfie Stick!
I can’t recommend Buddy V’s enough. If you’re in Las Vegas you NEED to stop by and enjoy an amazing dinner.
