Recently Jenn was asked to appear on Studio 5, a popular local TV show, and showcase the most popular post on the blog. This happens to be the Modge Podged light switch covers highlighted here:
While there she highlighted several ways to jazz up this very necessary household fixture. This included a vinyl version!
I am sort of a Harry Potter nut, and when we were collaborating it just happened to be Harry Potters birthday. Thus the creation of two fun Potter themed light switch covers.
I used the Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space software to create these designs. I also used the Cricut image library exclusively. Therefore I am able to share the links to the project so that you too can easily create this project for your home!
If you have a Cricut Explore simply click on this link and save it to your account. (Please be aware that you will need to own the images in order to cut the project.)
If you do not use the Cricut Explore you can recreate this project using these three cartridges:
Close To My Heart Artist
Disney Pooh and Friends
Everyone will need to purchase vinyl in the color of your choice, you will also need a clean light switch cover.
This project took about 10 to 15 minutes tops to do. Just remember to use the vinyl settings on your cutting machine. I also recommend using transfer tape to transfer the images from your vinyl sheet to your project.

Enjoy! There are so many ways to personalize your home and give little touches of personality! This is one way to very easily and quickly transform your home spaces.
