Ah these cute little people are so much fun!!!
Tonight for our activity we made paper chains. I love them, I love making them and if you had seen the looks on the faces of these small ones you’d know they were just as excited as I was.
I wanted some fun homemade decorations that the kids could help with and that I could use to put up in the house. These are so simple and fun that everyone joined in.
(PS – I’m still playing with manual mode which means some of the pictures are kind of crappy and required odd editing – sorry!)
While Little Miss couldn’t really make the chains she had a whole lot of fun playing with the glue stick and paper.
Mr. Man making his 1st paper chain and doing a wonderful job at it. He’s feeling so much better today. YAY!
The older girls walked in the door from dance class and jumped right in, they didn’t even take the time to take their jackets off first.
Here is where he said he was done. Great job buddy!
After our paper chain making we enjoyed some of my favorite ever holiday treat…gosh I love these things. It was extremely nice of me to share.
And we did it all by the glow of a warm fire. Nate had a little helper whether he needed it or not.
Here is our incredibly long chain all hung up. I can’t wait for the next addition and once it’s up I’ll give you the full straight on view.
The kids are very proud of their accomplishment and I think they should be!
